"This photo was taken at the Women's World Cup Netherlands vs. Canada game in Montreal in 2015. There was no way I was going to miss the Canadian women's soccer team playing in the World Cup in Canada!" - Gwen

Gwen joined the women's soccer league in 1985. She retired from playing in 2007 but continues to stay involved in the league. She started as a team manager in the late 80's, joined the Club's Board in the role of VP in 1992, and has held a couple of other positions on and off over the years. Gwen has been President of the TBWSC for the past 10+ years and helped to create the TBWSC logo and mission statement and in 2025, the revised mission statement.

Gwen manages a number of teams in the league and has managed up to seven teams during the indoor seasons.

Gwen researched and created a project on the history of the TBWSC from its beginning in 1981. A copy of this document is available on the TBWSC website. This project was submitted to the OSA and was chosen to receive the Meritorious Service Award (Club) in April 2014.
