The Thunder Bay Women's Soccer Club strives to promote the growth of women's soccer and to encourage individuals to reach their potential through education and skill development while fostering fun, fitness and friendship.

Outdoor
Awarded to three players per team, one for each category below:
Fun – this award is presented to the player that improves the attitudes of her fellow players by just being around. This player is positive and welcoming; her attitude and humour lifts the spirits of other players. She is dedicated to her team and everyone really enjoys playing with her.
Fitness – this award is presented to the player that is always moving during a game.  This player hustles up and down the field without looking tired.  She sees the game not only as fun but as a way to maintain and improve her overall level of fitness.
Friendship – this award is presented to the player that demonstrates respect and a positive attitude towards all players, coaches and officials.  She demonstrates a strong sense of sportsmanship and is the player that encourages her fellow team mates to work hard and have fun. This player is a team leader.

Indoor
Awarded to one player per team who exhibits all three of the qualities below:
Fun - her attitude and humour lifts the spirit of other players
Fitness - she is always moving during a game and never looks tired
Friendship - she demonstrated respect and a positive attitude towards all players, coaches, and officials

In memory of Kaitlin (1980–2022), who joined the Thunder Bay Women’s Soccer Club as a teen and carried her love of the game throughout her life.

Presented to a long-standing indoor player (minimum five years), this award recognizes someone who is deeply committed to her team, yet always ready to step onto the field with others—embracing shake-up seasons and tournaments as a chance to play more soccer and build new friendships.

Established in memory of a star player gone too soon, this award honoured, for thirty years, an outdoor player who embodied the spirit of soccer—celebrating passion, sportsmanship, enthusiasm, and a genuine love of the game. This award was last presented in 2018.
